Wharfedale dominated the early exchanges, with prop Jake Armstrong going over after 13 minutes.
ON a perfect day for running rugby, Wharefdale and Hull duly delivered a high-scoring encounter.
Ollie Cicognini, who was a running threat all afternoon, added a second try ten minutes later. Both were converted by the impressive Jack Grieg.
Hull quickly responded, with fullback James Farrar going over on the left. A driving maul took Hull over the Wharfedale line after 35 minutes for an unconverted try.
