Hedgley bets that rainy Dale fund will profit in the long run

WHARFEDALE captain George Hedgley feels an unprecedented injury crisis has derailed the club’s National Two North campaign but believes adversity will benefit them long term.
The Yorkshire outfit have struggled for consistency, with Hedgley revealing the scale of the disruption has been unlike anything he has experienced in more than a decade at the club.
While results have suffered, the loose forward sees a silver lining in the opportunities handed to emerging players with the club mid-table heading into this weekend.
