We got ahead of ourselves again

WE English, are once again the punchline for Scottish jokes... and deservedly so. Whenever we string together some decent performances, we get ahead of ourselves and start talking about Grand Slams. England had done well to chalk up 12 wins (particularly against New Zealand, France and Argentina) although there is a caveat in that nations are in the middle of a four-year cycle preparing for the World Cup.
