DARLINGTON Mowden Park didn’t have it all their own way before running away in a points-fest against relegation-threatened Rossendale at the Marl Pits.
They were 14–0 up inside 12 minutes, courtesy of tries from Jacob Butterill and James Bent, both converted by Ward Flynn.
Dale hit back with a pair of tries for themselves, lock Masi Clark going over after 23 minutes followed, three minutes later, by Johnny Leota, both improved by Keiran Tyrer adding the extras.
