Stick with Steward at 15 – Foden

FORMER England fullback Ben Foden believes Freddie Steward remains the country’s safest option at full-back, despite increasing competition for the No.15 shirt.
Foden, who won 34 caps, feels aerial dominance and authority under the high ball remain non-negotiable in the biggest fixtures, which gives Leicester 15 Steward the edge over Marcus Smith and George Furbank.
Foden points to the evolution of the role itself, with modern full-backs now required to do far more than field kicks.
