Sevenoaks make Westcombe work hard

IN a seemingly rather archetypal encounter, Sevenoaks’ nuggety defence thwarted eventual victors Westcombe Park’s more adventurous style of rugby.
That Combe won, thanks largely to the boot of Max Brown, was no surprise as Sevenoaks know all too well what this match-up offers.
Westcombe opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute, when Kyan Braithwaite ran in to plant the ball down after his barraging charge. Brown, as he does so often, converted.
