It’s a day of history for NSB battlers

NORTHAMPTON School for Boys have claimed a historic first Schools Trophy for state school rugby, beating independent giants Sedbergh and Wellington. Having finished 44th in the standings in 2024, the new term couldn’t have gone much better for NSB securing a Schools Cup semi-final and nine victories through 12 Trophy fixtures.
The Saints-affiliated school lost just twice during their Trophy campaign and sealed the national crown with a gritty win against Seaford 21-17 and a stylish 56-21 victory over Sir Thomas Rich’s.
