Brett Connon, Newcastle’s longest serving player, is confident the Red Bulls will soar six months after fearing for the club’s future.
Outside-half Connon, who was born in Carlisle and supported Newcastle as a boy, arrived at Kingston Park in 2015 and was breaking into the side when they reached the play-offs three years later.
