GEORGE Hendy does not care about the number on his back as long as he is in the starting line-up.
Hendy, the man of the match in the 2024 Premiership final when he came off the bench to create the try that pulled the plug on Bath, has flitted between full-back and wing since he made his debut for the Saints four years ago.
He started the season at 15 with George Fur-bank but, when the club captain returned from injury, was moved to the wing where he scored a try hat-trick against the Bulls last weekend to add to his touchdown in Pau.
