LEEDS Tykes ground out a narrow victory to kickstart their campaign and drag themselves off the bottom of the National League 1 against Clifton.
Barely a minute was on the clock when Lu-cas Walsh raced in for the opening score, in the left centre channel. The try was expertly converted by Eddie Crossland, who didn’t miss a kick all day.
