British and Irish Lions: Ellis Genge is a great guy, says Andrew Porter

British and

Ireland prop Andrew Porter has seen a different side of long-time rival Ellis Genge on this Lions tour – and it is not the snarling front rower he is used to.

Porter started yesterday’s second Test in Melbourne, with Genge on the bench, after the pair reversed roles from the opener in Brisbane.
Genge was the first to pat Porter on the back when the team was announced by Andy Farrell, reinforcing the Irishman’s new view that behind the Bristol star’s on-pitch persona there is a good bloke in there.
