FIVE tries in the third quarter of this pulsating game saw Dorking take control after what had been a first-half performance that promised much but delivered little.
Havant were on the scoreboard first as Jacob Ashworth barrelled over from short distance, making it an easy conversion for Joel Knight who scored their second, but unconverted try ten minutes later.
Dorking pressed hard for the rest of the half but despite having more possession and territory, were unable to breach the Havant defence.
