Raiders go down to a rare reverse at home

OLD Albanians claimed victory over Guernsey to inflict the Raiders’ first home defeat of the season.
The hard-fought contest exploded into life in the 14th minute when Old Albanians grabbed their first try through Charlie Fleckney, which was converted by Sam Jones.
However, the hosts, who last tasted defeat on April 27, 2024, when they were beaten 42-24 by Henley, were boosted by Tom Ceillam making his 350th appearance and levelled the scores through Ciaran McGann, who stepped up to kick over the extras.
