Hat-tricks aplenty for happy hosts

Old Albanians……..76

…..34

OLD Albanians emerged victorious in a high-scoring contest although Walsham were in total command in the first ten minutes.

Tawanda Kandemwa, with the first of his brace, George King and Wes McGuire and a Lucas Atherton conversion put the freeze on a very warm day.

Gradually OAs came out of their collective fog. Ash Ilston began matters and was followed by Mike Bond who went on to a notorious hooker hat-trick!

In the second quarter they took a lead they were not to lose courtesy of Ben Alexander (another hat-trick provider) and Jones' first three conversions.

Bond notched his second for the bonus point and even though Ben Hewitt hacked through for a visiting bonus, play now firmly favoured Albanians.

Bond completed his trio before the break.

On the restart Seb Mummery extended the margin.

Not to be upstaged, Bailey Thomas tore in for an incredible fiveminute hat-trick completed on the hour.

Alex Ricci then scored before Alexander completed a hat-trick of hattricks. Jones added three more points.

For Walsham, Connor Dudley and Tawanda struck late to bring honour to their club.
