Webb looking to get Bears firing

MEG Webb makes her first start of the season as Bristol host domestic pacesetters Gloucester-Hartpury in today's semi-final.

The centre partners Phoebe Murray in the midfield, with Lucie Skuse recalled at fly-half alongside skipper Lucy Burgess.

Ellie Marston-Mulhearn is another returnee, with Jess Sprague named at hooker and Simi Pam completing the front row.

Delaney Burns partners Hollie Cunningham in the engine room while Gabriella Nigrelli makes her comeback from injury alongside Claire Molloy and Rownita Marston-Mulhearn in the back row.

Bristol head coach Dave Ward said: “We're excited to be at home for what is set to be a thrilling cup semi-final at Shaftesbury Park. The prize of a home final is really exciting, but we know we'll have to deliver a top quality performance to earn that.”

Trudy Cowan comes back into the side after series of strong performances in the group stage.
