Raiders repelled despite slow start

CANTERBURY triumphed in an early kick-off against Guernsey Raiders, despite starting slowly.
It took until a Frank Morgan try in the 23rd minute to open the scoring, with the Kent side having defended strongly for most of the opening quarter.
Guernsey were unable to make the pressure tell and Canterbury turned the ball over in their 22 before going the length to extend their lead thanks to a penalty try.
