ELATED Worthing head coach Fred Pierrepont paid homage to his team’s “outstanding reaction” as they overturned a 24-point deficit to win by a point.
Their reaction to going 24-0 down saw Caleb Ashworth and William Gearing-Grief cross just before half-time.
“Our main task was getting our energy right,” said Pierrepont. “Individually and collectively, we needed to take responsibility.”
