LEADERS Leeds Tykes produced a clinical second-half display, romping home to a commanding victory over Tigers.

Ben Dixon was Tykes' star man, scoring his first hat-trick for the club. The powerful centre got on the end of some lovely moves, after strong foundations laid by a dominant pack.

The visitors opened the scoring with a penalty from Will Baker, who added his second after 20 minutes to keep his side in the contest.

Tykes' first score came through Aarin Yorke who dotted down at the back of a maul, Keiran Davies adding his customary extras.

Ben Turpin scored out wide seven minutes before the interval.

Leeds took no prisoners after half-time, with Dixon and Davies running the show in backfield in a perfor mance built on robust defence, which kept the Tigers scoreless.

Davies himself got over for a try after 45 minutes, hot off the back of Dixon's first score. His second and third tries came within the space of five minutes just after the hour to add some gloss to the scoresheet.

Eddie Brown crashed over late to add insult to the Tigers' wounds, Tom Williams converting with the final kick.
