RICHMOND snatched a win at the death in a thriller at The Rock.

The hosts started the match well and soon found themselves 8-0 up thanks to a charge-down and run-in by Patrick Kelly, as well as a Josh Bragman penalty.

Richmond finally opened their account around the 30-minute mark when captain Alex Post touched down from the back of a maul.

They then took the lead soon after thanks to a yellow card for Park captain Arthur Ellis that resulted in an Alex Burrage penalty.

Midway through the second half, Richmond extended their lead when Lucas Schmid charged down a kick on halfway and ran it in before Park pulled three points back through the boot of Luc Smith.

With the game in the balance late on, a Park rolling maul rumbled across the line, resulting a Jasper Cameron try that looked to have secured the victory for the hosts.

However, with normal time having elapsed, back-to-back penalties allowed Richmond to work their way into the final third before an outrageous chip into the dead-ball area was touched down by former Rosslyn Park centre Henry Cheeseman to rescue the unlikeliest of triumphs.
