BARNES showed why they are league contenders as they defeated a spirited Westcombe Park side.
The visitors had won all three games on the road and maintained this run at Goddington Dene.
Combe took an early lead through a Jacob Buckley try, converted by Nathan Wyman.
Both sides then swapped scores throughout the half, Combe scoring a further three tries through Kieran Thompson from a Sam Fombo offload, Joe Ratcliff after a dominant home scrum and juggle and finally Taine Wagstaff from a lineout drive.
