Bury hold edge in enthralling encounter

IT has been two years since these teams last met, and that proved to be a high-scoring event.
That may not have been the case this time around, but it was certainly a top tussle.
Esher immediately stated their intention by attacking from deep, but numerous high-speed phases came to nothing.
Only unforced errors by both teams prevented any early scoring but, after 16 minutes, Bury broke the deadlock.
Swift interplay and a half-break by the impressive Loose was strongly finished by star man Leng.
