We might be in midsummer but there’s still plenty of match action to find in The Rugby Paper on a busy weekend of international rugby.

They’ll be reports from the opening weekend of The Rugby Championship as the premier Southern Hemisphere international competition gets underway with Eddie Jones’ Australia heading to South Africca and Argentina hosting New Zealand.

In our My Life in Rugby feature, recently retired Richard de Carpentier, the former Leicester Tigers, Worcester Warriors, Harlequins, Bath and England 7s forward, who won a Commonwealth Games bronze medal in 2018, talks about his life in the game.

While Callum Braley, the Northampton Saints and former Bristol, Gloucester, Hartpury and Benetton scrum-half picks his Dream Team of the best players he has played with or against.
