Saracens have spoken to Anthony Watson about staying in the Premiership when his contract with Leicester runs out at the end of the season.
Watson has been in talks with Castres about a move to France’s Top 14, but a move to North London would allow him to extend his international career.
He would replace Scotland international and Lions tourist Sean Maitland who has been linked with a move away from the Premiership leaders when his contract runs out.
