Bury defiant as OAs fail to make late burst count

Bury held off a late rally by Old Albanians to claim victory.
The opening minutes were dominated by a kicking contest before Bury made a fine break out of defence with Shaq Meyers leading the charge.
OAs responded with a lineout catch and drive and a try by Andrew Nurse converted by Greg Lound.
From the restart Bury had an opportunity squandered but it wasn’t long before they scored as the OAs lineout faltered and a midfield break by debutant Ollie Saddleton resulted in a try by Ben Cooper converted by Charlie Reed....
