Leeds Tykes went down fighting as they failed in their quest to remain in National One, conceding 11 tries to a rampant Cambridge.
Hooker Ben Brownlie got the scoring underway three minutes in, with the first of his hat-trick from driving mauls. Another followed six minutes later.
Antony Maka helped himself to a brace either side of a beauty from Tom Hoppe – all five were converted by dead-eye Steff James.
Tykes, though, got on the board just before the break with a touch down from Tighe Maxwell-Whitely, leaving it 35-5...
