Marx on the mark to put Spears in charge

The Kubota Spears recorded an important 15-5 victory at home over fellow title hopefuls Yokohama Canon Eagles with several Springbok stars on display.
Boks star hooker Malcolm Marx was on the scoresheet for the hosts, scoring the only points of the first half.
Australian international Bernard Foley added five points in the second half to move the Spears into second place.
For the Eagles, it is just their third loss since star scrum-half Faf De Klerk joined at the start of the season, leaving them in fourth.
