Blackheath turn on first-half style to extend lead

A devastating first period was followed by a largely forgettable second, as another bonus-point win was secured by Blackheath, the club’s fifth of 2023, to extend their lead at the top of the table.
In the opening 40 minutes, Blackheath’s intensity was too much for the visitors, with their speed at the breakdown persistently getting them over the gain-line, coupled with dominance at the set-piece.
