LEADERS Westcombe Park were pressed all the way by title rivals Shelford before taking the spoils 25-19 in Orpington. The Kent side had to come from behind but now sit nine points clear at the top of the table, with Tring now their nearest challengers following their win at Medway.
There was little to choose between Park and Shelford in the early stages.
But it was the home side who nosed ahead through a converted try from centre James Burton after 25 minutes.
