Blackheath took the spoils in a brutal top-of-the-table clash at Dry Leas after defeating Henley Hawks, with Tom Baldwin leading his team to victory.
Apart from Blackheath’s two first-half tries, both teams virtually cancelled each other out, with very little running rugby and both packs of forwards going at each other for the whole game.
That said, Blackheath were thoroughly deserved winners. They were better with the ball in hand, and their defence was excellent throughout....
