Pat Lam expects Kyle Sinckler to be named in the England squad tomorrow after the prop went on the rampage at Kingsholm.
Sinckler, who missed England’s tour to Australia because of injury, made 46 metres from 13 carries, more than any other forward with Ellis Genge not far behind on 32 metres.
“Kyle was disappointed with his performance at Newcastle a couple of weeks ago and apologised for it,” said Bristol director of rugby Lam. “I will be surprised if he is not in the England squad. He has shown in his last couple of games he’s back to his best.
