New York crowned champions of America

RUGBY United New York won their first ever Major League Rugby title as they beat the Seattle Seawolves 30-15 at the Red Bull Arena in front of 7,500 fans yesterday.
Seattle took the lead through Joey Iosefo’s try but Will Tucker hit back for New York.
Seawolves regained their lead with a David Busby penalty, but 20 unanswered points followed as a brace by All Black World Cup winner Andy Ellis and a further touchdown from Nic Mayhew put the Eastern Conference side in a commanding position.
