A NINE-TRY rout against Northumberland RFU helped Gareth Davies’ Cheshire side progress to the knockout stages in the Bill Beaumont Cup.
It was an electrifying performance from Cheshire that saw both Josiah Dickinson and James Tebbatt notch a brace of tries as they finished top of Division 1 North.
Cheshire captain Dickinson opened the scoring when he peeled away from a scrum within Northumberland’s five-metre line to pick up the loose ball and burst past a challenge to convert.
