EAST Midland battled past Warwickshire to pick up an opening day victory in division two of the competition.
As the game got underway, both teams started brightly and were equal to one another.
But come the final whistle it was a comfortable victory for Viliami Ma’asi’s side.
Ben Wilkinson opened the Midlands’ scoring and it was added to by Liam Hancock and Alex Finney.
