Lions topple Reds in dramatic clash

FIFTH-PLACED Leicester Lions got the better of second-placed Redruth in a nail-biting encounter.
Redruth’s dominance in the first quarter earned a third-minute try for hooker Richard Brown, converted by Fraser Honey.
Lions responded, taking the ball from their line-out and sending Simon Johnson through a gap for a try converted by Ben Young.
From the restart, Lions mishandled and Redruth’s Will Trewin, collected the bouncing ball to skip over for a try and a 12-7 half-time lead.
