Glasgow taught a harsh lesson

GLASGOW'S poor South African trip ended with defeat to the Bulls on Friday, with head coach Danny Wilson admitting:

“We've certainly been taught a few lessons over here”.

Last week the Scottish side lost out to the after a one-sided last 50 minutes and again in Pretoria their discipline and decision making let them down in a 29-17 reverse.

The Warriors should still make the play-offs, but are set to be away from home and they need to learn how to win away from Scotstoun quickly.

“Physically we really struggled, we lacked breakdown presence, we couldn't get ‘go forward' and when we did try to have a crack at them we couldn't string enough good stuff together,” Wilson said.

Glasgow started brightly with Erlich Louw yellow carded for collapsing a maul and the visitors were awarded a penalty try.

The shorthanded hosts levelled things four minutes later when Zak Burger went over for a converted try before a Duncan Weir penalty made it 10-7 to Glasgow.

Morne Steyn's penalty made it 10-10 before Zander Fagerson was sin-binned after a build-up of team fouls and Madosh Tambwe's seven pointer put the Bulls up at the break.

Tries either side of the hour mark gave the Bulls the bonus point and killed the game off.
