BARGOED made it a perfect 10 out of 10 in the Championship and took a giant step towards clinching the title with a 22-10 home win over Pontypool.
That took them five points clear at the top with three games to play. Their task in clinching the Championship was made all the easier last week when the WRU ruled there would not now be a playoff between the top four to win the silverware.
