Mawr continue their title charge

Ryan Gardner ran in a hat-trick of tries for title chasing Brynmawr in the-Division 1 East as he steered his side to a 45-17 bonus-point win over Risca.
It was a win that kept the ‘Mawr in touch with unbeaten league leaders Penallta and sets up a clash with second placed Pontypool United in two weeks time, who pipped Dowlais 15-13.
United have played three games more than Penallta and Brynmawr, with Penallta leading with 29 points, United on 22 and Brynmawr now on 21.
