LEINSTER coach Leo Cullen was delighted to get the win against an improved Lions side and did not dwell on their failure to get the bonus point.
The champions had three tries on the board after 51 minutes but never looked like getting a fourth on a night when Rhys Ruddock made his 200th appearance for Leinster.
“It was an unbelievably physical game but a bit of accuracy let us down,” Cullen said. “We will take the win, it was a big step up for the young guys.”
