Gonzalo eyes glory despite Jaguares set-back

DRAGONS scrum-half Gonzalo Bertranou insists the Jaguares’ exclusion from Super Rugby has made it difficult for Argentina to be competitive at Test level.
The Jaguares spent four seasons in Super Rugby and reached the final in 2019, losing to the Crusaders. During this period Argentina mainly selected Jaguares players which gave them greater cohesion.
Since they were forced to drop out of Super Rugby last year all their professional players are scattered around Europe making player availability a big problem.
