STRUGGLING Barnstaple made high-flying visitors Esher battle all the way for their bonus-point victory.
Barum did not help their own cause with a series of knock-ons, penalties not finding touch, a missed lineout and two reversed penalties for backchat to the referee. Despite this, they defended well and kept going with tremendous spirit against a strong Esher side.
