Gopperth in talks over switch to Tigers

VETERAN Wasps ace Jimmy Gopperth is poised to put off retirement for another year at least and could move to Premiership leaders Leicester Tigers next season.
New Plymouth-born Gopperth, who will be 39 in June, has been speaking to the Tigers about a shock switch across the East Midlands.
Gopperth moved to the UK in 2009 as Jonny Wilkinson’s replacement at Newcastle Falcons, then played for Leinster before joining Wasps in 2015.
