Ignore lower tiers at your peril, RFU

ANOTHER well informed column by Jeff Probyn in TRP (Oct 10). The Premiership has effectively been ring fenced now it is 13 teams with one slot for a Championship side to go up.
Premiership teams now get a rest week, which has to be good for player welfare, but the RFU are destroying the game below Premiership level. It might not impact immediately, but it will in the future.
The price of ignoring second, third and fourth tier rugby in England will bite them in the behind.
