WITH a grey sky overhead and greasy, wet grass underfoot, to the credit of both teams this was an open affair from the off and tight until the finish when Quins star Shaunagh Brown powered over the line.
The opening few minutes were a series of missed chances and dropped balls until Gloucester-Hartpury lock Gwen Crabb left the field after a head-onhead collision. Gloucester won the ensuing scrum and quickly worked the ball out wide for Kelly Smith to score.
