Saints hit big six but Blues pose problems

NORTHAMPTON ran in six tries to see off Bedford on Friday night.
An early try from Dean Adamson put Bedford ahead but Saints hit back with scores from Rory Hutchinson, Tom Litchfield and Alex Mitchell before half-time. Josh Gillespie scored Saints’ fourth after the break, and while Blues fought back with tries from Alex Day and Adamson’s second, Saints went clear with late tries from Tom Collins and Fraser Dingwall.
