Kerr earns long stay in Bristol

Impressed: Jake Kerr

SCOTLAND hooker Jake Kerr has signed a permanent deal with Bristol. The 25-year-old signed a short-term contract at the end of last season after leaving Leicester in April.
The Bears, beaten in the Premiership semifinal by Harlequins, have not disclosed the length of Kerr’s contract.

Former Waratahs hooker Joe Cotton and ex-Melbourne Rebels No.9 Theo Strang have joined on trial until the end of 2021; scrum-half Chris Cook is leaving after a year with Bristol.
