WRU set for £40m bailout

THE Welsh Rugby Union are set to receive priceless financial support from the Welsh Government funding this week.
The WRU believe they have lost more than £50m due to Covid-19. It is understood they will receive in the region of £40m from the government’s ‘spectator fund’ – one from which the WRU and Welsh FA will benefit.
