Thomson miss lets Dragons off hook

BRANDON Thomson’s last-gasp conversion hit the post as the Dragons recorded their third PRO14 triumph of the season after an enthralling Conference A clash.
When Glasgow replacement hooker Johnny Matthews went over for a try two minutes into injury time it looked as if the hosts were going to emerge victorious at Scotstoun, but fellow substitute Thomson missed the relatively simple conversion to let the Welsh side off 23-22.
