LUTHER BURRELL has put the dark times behind him and is looking forward to an exciting new chapter in his career after finally getting back on a rugby field.
Yesterday the 32-year-old former England centre made his first appearance of any description since the end of February in Newcastle’s pre-season friendly against Ealing Trailfinders.
Before that, his last competitive action was for Warrington Wolves against Leeds Rhinos in Rugby League.
