JEFF Probyn writes in TRP Oct 25 that one positive to come out of the mess over the cancellation of the England v Barbarians match is that a number of Premiership clubs offered players to replace those who caused the cancellation.
Jeff says that will hopefully help the Baabaas the next time they need to raise a squad. Prem clubs will anticipate that this offer might persuade sceptics that they are not driven solely by self-interest.
