Beirne must fill big boots of Snyman

MUNSTER head coach Johann van Graan is set to lean heavily on Tadhg Beirne after the loss of blockbuster summer signing RG Snyman to a torn ACL.
This afternoon’s clash with Connacht will mark Beirne’s first appearance for the province since last December, having been sidelined by surgery for a broken ankle before the turn of the year.
He is one of five changes made by Van Graan to the team which went down 27-25 to Leinster in last weekend’s thriller.
